Forget this happy clapper stay with eurooe bollox, we get sod all out of europe. They hate us, Euovision proves it every year. Tactical voting and hardly anyone ever vote for us, it shows the level of contempt towards GB.

It wouldn't by any chance be because the songs are f,ucking crap would it?

With respect Afghan, I don't 'admit' to being 'slightly left of centre'...admitting something suggests one is in the wrong...being 'slightly left of centre' is just my usual political stance.

Not once in any of my posts on this subject have I labelled anyone on here as 'racist' although it is undeniable that some posters have put forward racist opinions on various threads on this site that would probably have seen them banned on others. Personally I believe any form of racism to be a repugnant philosophy shared by stupid people. That's my opinion but equally I'm not one of the PC brigade and I also believe people should say what they think not what they believe to be 'correct'.

You say 'Cameron is scaring us', but this isn't about Cameron...he's just the guy in charge at the moment who made this ridiculous referendum promise. Fact is virtually every western leader wants us to remain in the EU. I'm not sure how that 'squares' with your 'they hate us' theory.

    Where does that ev

[quote="AfghanRam"]Anagram - You admit to veing slightly left if centre. I suggest you s a bit further left than you think!

Its an interesting debate the in or out decision. However, anyone who seems to wamt out you appear to be labelling a racist in a round about fashion.

I for one have concerns about certain ussues, which gave been raised in this thread. That doesnt make me a racist. It makes me a thinker, it makes me human.

We arent as littler a country as you might think, Germany and France are panicking, they dont want us to leave. Wonder why? They are goung to miss our money to prop up the EU.

All is not well eith the EU, it is corrupt and those that are running it a fleecing the system. Better in to have a say? Our vote counts for nithing because the other 26 countries vite against us continually.

Trade - We import more than we export, they wont want to phuck that up. We can also use worl wude teading opportunities.

    Health - M

Where does that even come from anyway. I spend about nine weeks a year in the U.S. and four or five in Germany and Spain. I've also spent a lot of time in France and apart from a degree of puzzlement about why we in the UK seem so divided over Europe, I can honestly say I've never encountered any animosity."

Just my halfpenny worth: The amount of times I have seen on various web sites,be it football or general news sites, the "They all hate us" rants is unbelievable.
I have lived in France since '73 and I have NEVER EVER experienced any sort of animosity from a Frenchman because of my nationality. Thanks to my career for the last 17 years before I retired, I had the good fortune to be able to visit just about every country in Europe, the Middle East and a couple of trips to China and Malasia. Admittedly it was for business reasons and in prin

Well said frenchlion. Beginning to wish I'd never picked this one up at all but it's good to have an informed response. The slightly hysterical and xenophobic responses of some over this whole EU referendum is as puzzling to me as it is alarming.

The post WW2 generation have never and probably will never experience European nations kicking the ****e at of each other like our fathers and grandfathers did. If only for that, I vote in (if I could).
There is a lot wrong with the EU as it stands but those wrongs will be (hopefully) corrected. The scrapping of the open borders agreement for a start which is completely utopique. It will not hurt anybody to show their passports at frontiers.
Anyway I am not convinced that the UK can go it alone in front of China, the USA and eventually a European Union

More insults and still no apology?

I am glad I am not deemed to be a lefty as these types seem to be getting more and more offensive and aggressive these days

The buzz saying that there is an opportunity to "enrich our workforce" is narrow minded and anyone that believes that is not seeing the bigger picture.

But for goodness sake please do not stereotype me as xenophobic or such like again in your rants. I am sure others find the slur offensive too.

What insults...and what on earth are you expecting an apology for?
I've answered both Alto and Afghan politely and respectfully and just avoided you as far as possible.
You really need to read this thread back and redefine 'rude', 'disrespectful' and 'insult' gaz.
