Bri, you're about to get your wish. There's a short list of one - Warne.
It's just been on TalkSport Radio - he's going Franchise ... quality of candidates left for the job at the NYS is now worrying!
In all honesty, who will come? You have got to be one desperate person to take this on.
The only exception would be a Ronnie and Branston partnership with Brecks included. They are Rotherham through and through and if it failed it wouldn't be the end of the world for Ronnie. That team might just succeed.
Up and coming managers and managers with a decent reputation will think twice before even speaking to us, surely?
It is different now that KJ has left. Others will question why he left, ask more questions and not assume that such things as modern training facilities are in place. As a club, we can say there is money in place for players but not actually have any. It is harder to present training facilities in a good light when they are there for all to see.
After the Stubbs debacle it's very concerning that yet another inexperienced Scottish manager has even been mentioned let alone approached (apparently).
How about a totally different approach, take Tony Stewart and the Board out of the equation altogether and hand the task of finding a new manager to a top level recruitment agency.
It's a fecking mess! Who ever you think of putting on the list it'll only end up bad for them!!!
Warne and Frecklington with Hamshaw.
Club state we never approached Neilson, another media lie, anyway he's off the list who next?
I don't know what Freck's ambitions are, but why not give it him, with Warne as coach, i don't think Warney is cut out for the manager's job, but i reckon Frecks as player/manager could work, he has the respect of the players and fans alike, and is someone who could galvanise us.
GIVE FRECKS A GO!!!!
