    Oh dear.

Well if that's your opinion then fine , however you couldn't be more wrong .

As far as I'm aware the software converts game time players data and gives players an overall rating , this data is then analysed to monitor emerging talent , a young player at Barnet's data will reveal improvement if it's there , his score will improve and if it continues to improve then he's highlighted as a potential recruit , accessed in seconds without the need to make 4 or 5 trips to Underhill that may not come to fruitition .

It also identifies players on the decline , the little 2 0r 3 percent that are ***** and can make the difference between a player who can improve you and one who wont .

If you are recruiting such as ourselves in a limited market , budget and an under 24 years of age emerging talent market its a bit of kit we embrace .

All the usual recruitment policies are followed up after its identified the target within our parameters , watched and credibility tested .

Given our success at finding young emerging talent of late as oppose to the days when we recruited lemons by the dozen , I'd suggest its a system rather more advanced than Wikipedia .

So then when Izzy Brown had 2 month tonsilitis his rating would have plummeted?

It sounds though like a smart system but probably depends on a set of old guys sat at games giving their estimate of performance of players. That human element is therefore the flaw (as this site shows) peoples opinions can vary widely.

Still having said that it's got to be an improvement on the eeny meeny miny mo system we seem to have now.

Illness and injury or even returning from lay offs will be factored in .

Look i'm not suggesting its fool proof , nothing ever is , what you are getting is a system that allows you to monitor and react to the recruitment of players quicky without the need initially to bomb up and down motorways , often in vain .

We are getting offers for our players left , right and centre , most of whom cost peanuts , Mawson cost nothing and 12 months later he's worth 6.5 milion , Roberts was 50k and West Brom are lining up for him next month .

Previously we recruited badly , whim and a prayer , relegated and without a pot to pyss in , is it coincidence we have moved up a level , won a trophy with 13 million in the bank to boot .

C'mon , we aint that good fellas , embrace the tech .

The problem we've got, animal, is not having the skill, knowledge or expertise to operate or run anything effectively, including a football club. Perhaps, that's being a little harsh, but I'm sure you get the gist from reading the messages on here. It will take more than a piece of software to turn things around - but it's a brick in the wall, I guess. (Hopefully, more bricks will be delivered in time for Christmas! ).

I read that this sup-dupa software collates data to show up and coming players and those in the autumn of their careers.

Obviously - players physical attributes - good engine - box to box - athletes....is football BULL.

I'm the first one to say it's not fab stats that matter - IT's WHAT YOU DO WITH IT !

I can only assume that the number of touches - pass completions - assists - goals - attitude in the dressing room and propensity to screw the centre forwards girlfriend when he's gone to an alcohol rehab centre is also factored into the software......

    If so - sounds a snip...lol

PS: You could do what Barnsley - Wednesday & Sheffield United do and listen to radio deedah when we find a potential gem - simply outbid us in cash and / or wage demands. Simple's !
