Pretty sure they would have preferred to have kept him and were only saying they were glad to get rid because he'd had his head turned by our better offer.

Taylor wanted to come to Burnley in the last January window but Monks decided to play hard arse.

    Hence the strop!

At £5-6 million he is a snip!

You've managed to get it completely the wrong way round Prim. I'm praising Garlick because at long last we're getting the players in early, which is what I've been pleading for for years, instead of depending on the usual late August trolley dash. As I said before, people usually come round to my way of thinking eventually, and BFC have done just that.

That diving header he scored at Deepdale, one of the most enjoyable goals I've ever seen us score, and I've been watching us since the late 50s. I was sorry we couldn't hold onto Cork back then, and never thought he'd be back. I'm having two Christmas's this year.

But we know him, whatever people at Swansea might think. Have people forgotten how good he can be and he will be at the height of his career.

Everyone loves playing at Burnley. I am just so happy the EPL money train is parked at Turf Moor and we can actually really afford to buy and pay players of this quality. H A P P Y!
