Could see we were lacking quality up front. Russell the 100%er should be on the bench for me and I think Vydra could be the best number 10 in the Championship. Keogh was Derby's best player by a mile and the rest should take note, a real talisman!

I thought the defence was sound, apart from the left back position, but I doubt Forsyth is 100% given his long lay off, but 100% better than Olsson. Wisdom was terrific and gave us a presence on the wing as well. The midfield was meh, let's hope Thorne is able to have a good season.

I think on last nights showing Vydra and Bryson need to start in place of Russell and Weimann, although that creates a problem in providing cover on the wings. Vydra and Bryson will combine well with Martin and Nugent, who otherwise are isolated and not supported quickly enough.

I thought Sunderland were poor and that we needed to show more urgency and intensity (not complacency!), but I'm sure Rowett knows this.

Personally I feel both sides will be battling for a play off place.
Sunderland probably will challenge for a top 2. I think between Villa, Hull, Boro and the Mackems the top 2 will be decided. But I do see Derby challenging strongly for a play off spot. Hard to beat away and strong at home. Good players and a manager.

Thanks for the compliment. I don't always go out of my way to be. ****, I tend more towards being a **** and a ****, often at the same time.

Let's hope Rowett doesn't have the entrenched attitude Pearson had. Bryson to start with Russell as a 70 min sub would be a good start, Weimann was anonymous and Vydra showed a lot of enterprise when he came on and I'd start him. I must have missed how good wisdom was but Keogh was epic everyone ought to get off his case now, at least at championship level he is the real deal. We need more than a one man midfield though
