NZ....I thought we played pretty good for 75 minutes and just relaxed too much in the last five minutes thinking it was all over..I can see it being a close run game as long as we don't make any silly mistakes on our own line.. Our front line is every bit as good as the Aussies and will compete against there's.. Just need to stop them from offloading the ball in the tackle and we have a big chance..It will be a hard task though..

Ok the pressure is going to be on the Ozzers here, they beat us in the opening game of the tournament but they didnt thrash us did they!.
Lets hope our lads can play to their strengths a bit more against them this time and not let the occasion get to us etc. Fingers crossed eh!

Too true Acido,we have nothing to lose,so let's get stuck into them and give them hell ...Rough em up as much as possible and they might lose their heads ..lol

They are still England wannabes arent they Alf, as we sent/deported all of our misfits out to Oz all those years ago.
Come on England, lets not f*k about here and look back at chances missed and keep making excuses etc... this could be our year lads for another England sporting World cup win.

Ah Sinkov, next Saturday morning 8.30 BBC2 ...Australia v England World Cup final.. Aussies are massive favourites to win,but I expect our lads to turn up and make it hard for them.. Whatever the outcome it will be very entertaining viewing with some great rugby to watch and enjoy.. I hope you and TEC will be shouting the lads on against the arrogant Aussies..

If I thought we had any chance of beating those arrogant Aussies Alf I might, sadly I think nos rugby Ã* trieze garçons will be getting their bottoms spanked, just like our hapless cricketers. Now if you want to see how to put the convicts firmly in their place, you watch our Union boys, they beat them for fun.

Besides, I saw a bit of an Aussie game last week, might have been against Tonga, Fiji, one of them islands, and they kept talking excitedly about the 'Kangaroos'. Somehow it sounded ludicrous, Wallabies, All Blacks, Pumas, I can live wi ith, but Kangaroos...........really ?

Well, that was a cracking match which, with a little more composure, we should probably have won.
We got in some good positions but then seemed to press the panic button when a calm head may just have seen us over the line.
Anyway, thanks to all the England lads who gave it everything they had and left nothing on the pitch. As a fan, I couldn't have asked for more.
The Aussies just had the edge when it came to managing the game but thanks to both teams for making it a cracking final---if only the Engalnd football team played with such pride and passion.

Yes,we got into some great positions and just seemed to commit suicide with sloppy passing letting us down or playing the wrong option..What about that ankle tap as well,it was a certain try with the inside pass on the cards..The lads gave their all and were really unlucky not to win the game, the Aussies were out on their feet in the last ten minutes.. A super game and I'm really proud of the England performance against the red hot favourites..
