Slept on it and 12 hours later my verdict hasn't changed: What a f##kin' sh!tty draw !!

Glamour of Opponents: marginally better than Newport - I suppose?
Sorry, but I still see Brentford as a perennial lower division club, punching way above their weight.

Potential Income: marginally better than nothing.

Chance of Winning: ha ha ha....

Just hope the players and management don't get sucked into this non-event of a match and stay focussed on somehow getting out of this league - preferably upwards!!

I can't get beyond that either. Brentford to me is a typical foggy Tuesday night fixture in February in the third division, not a successful Championship side.

I have similar thoughts. Whilst Brentfod are a decent championship side which should be respected, historically certainly in recent times I've always seen them as a club of similar size and stature to ours. They have the second lowest average attendance this season in championship, with only Burton lower. Plus the fact that we have played them so much in the lower leagues as well.

Perhaps in a way it's a good thing as it shows the heights we can achieve.

The Championship is an interesting place. It has former established top flight teams in it that have fallen hard such as Aston Villa and Leeds, then you get the ever presents like Ipswich, and yo-yo clubs like Sunderland, Wolves, Reading, and then clubs that occasionally punch above their weight like Burton.

I'm glad it's not just me who sees Brentford as big city bumpkins.

I've seen Notts lose at Griffin Park too many times. So forgive me for not getting too excited by the prospect of being tonked by a nouveau-riche reincarnation of the Humble Bees.

Now a tonking by Tottenham at Wembley - for all that filthy lucre - would have been very, very palatable...

Do they still have Alan Judge? Last I heard he was out with a broken leg, but that was a year or two ago.

According to this we might well see him as part of his comeback: http://www.getwestlondon.co.uk/sport...-step-13997422

And yeah, the BBC is no doubt aware of its responsibility to present people from all ethnic backgrounds. That's just a reflection of English football and wider British culture. What's the problem?
An excellent post by Mr Slack. I couldn't better it except to say that the big knockers on here are firmly entrenched in the BOF brigade.

It may not be the most glamorous of ties , but we have a real opportunity of winning this game.. Then we can play Arsenal at the Emirates......
