Unfortunately second in the league after seasons of dire stuff since Munto with incapable owners still isn’t good enough for some, we have to start somewhere, the fight in the team is second to none, we are doing really well considering the doom and gloom merchants predicted us struggling massively this year. I don’t think supporters like Doompie will ever be happy.

Exactly, and the truth is that we're not good enough to dictate our own style of play. The good news however is that we're adaptable, we fight to the finish, and we make the most of what we have. It's not always pretty, but it counts for a lot in this division.

The one thing that cannot be criticised is the never say-die attitude which this current squad have. If we can harness this with a bit more of the Luton display then we will romp this league....

Totally agree. we’re at the top of this league because we’ve grafted, been adaptable and had luck on our side. We’re individually average but our success is that we seem to know that. We play when we get the chance and we don’t try to be too clever when we can’t!

The so called expert football managers and pundits who patrol this site never seem to have the the spherical objects to apply for our vacant manager or coaches posts when they have frequently arisen, however they do like to spout their knowledge of the Beautiful Game on here.
