Shocked to hear this tragic news this afternoon.
RIP BIG C.
Gutted!
We were blessed indeed to have had him at our club.
Very tragic news, a fantastic player and true legend, RIP big fella.

I was driving this morning listening to Radio Gloucestershire when they announced they had breaking news. Stunned when I heard it was of Cyrille's death. The fact that such a radio station, with no Albion connections, chose to stop a show with breaking news of his passing sums up what he meant to the nation.
I loved watching him play, who wouldn't? I was there for his league debut against Boro. I was puzzled by his inclusion at kick off. Full time I knew I'd seen a new star.
I've had a few deaths stun me over the years. This could be the most shocking.
Thanks for the memories Cyrille.

Was going to post about this tragic news on the Wolves board but this belongs on here.
Such a good person and an absolute bloody powerhouse as a player.
You guys have lost a true legend today. Sleep well big fella.
Was indeed lucky to have see Cyrille's Rotherham debut on a bitterly cold night as I recall. Was at Old Trafford for that match and could not believe how lucky we were with that team and him to lead the line in it. I met him at a nightclub near Five Ways with my first real girlfriend who said just go up and say hello. I finally steeled myself and did so. He shook my hand but I was so in awe of him I could barely speak. He just smiled that smile and i was absolutely chuffed to bits. This has been one of the saddest days I can remember. What a player. And what was so fantastic was with him, Cunningham and Batson in the team it became utterly impossible to support the Baggies and be racist. He transformed ordinary people's lives in a way that very few could. Joyous and Legendary.
