Thread: Aaron Lennon deal agreed

A full blown, fully capped 30 year old England international for a couple of million quid and a decent wage structure is pretty difficult to argue with?

I wish the lad all of the best and hope his well documented mental health issues are all behind him.

    Wheels within wheels

New Burnley signing Aaron Lennon has disclosed that he sought advice from Michael Keane before joining the club.

Lennon completed his move from Everton to Burnley today.
Keane initially joined Burnley on loan from Manchester United before making the switch permanently and featured 108 times for The Clarets prior to signing for Everton.
Lennon stated that Keane spoke positively about Burnley. He had nothing but good words to say about the club and he wished me well.
“He’s a great lad and a top player. I played with him for a little while and he’s a top player, who’s going to go a long way in the game."
