To be fair, as much as I love Graeme Shinnie as a player, there’s been a good few of his yellows that have been totally unecessary. Originally Posted by neilthedon

That’s why I’m thinking he might be better at left back.
I’m not sure he has the discipline to play midfield. He often vacates the middle of the pitch leaving us exposed, more noticeable as Jack isn’t there, who was a disciplined player who held his position.
In centre midfield, you’re probably more likely to have to tackle & close down an opponent.
I’d caveat that by saying if he were moved to left back, we’d need TWO centre midfielders.
