apparently, are an Asian company "based" in Malta - but there's little to be found on them - like who's doing the backing etc - at present...are a new and relatively unknown international online gambling company.

For many years, if I had a free Saturday I had two options, if Burnley were at home or playing locally I would go to the game, if not I'd spend the afternoon in the bookies. Most times an afternoon in the bookies was by far the most enjoyable experience of the two, as we floundered in the lower divisions, but that's another story. From a financial aspect, if it was the footy I would cough up my tenner at the turnstile and wave bye bye to it, I would never see it again, gone, £10 down on the day. Or I took the same tenner to the bookies, on a bad day I might wave bye bye to my tenner there as well, more often I would leave with some of it intact, sometimes I would leave with more than my tenner, sometimes considerably more, but whatever, from a financial aspect, the bookies was a much better proposition than Turf Moor.
However, when I told friends, family or neighbours that I'd been in the bookies all afternoon, I would get funny, disapproving looks, raised eyebrows, if I told them I'd been to a football match this was accepted as a perfectly normal, rational way to spend an afternoon.Given the evidence of my wallet, I always did, and still do, find this illogical.
seems like your a very canny gambler - Sinkov....not exactly a bookies favourite

...I've known a few who like a bet - some like yourself and others who the betting shops loved to see walk through the door - it wasn't pretty when they lost the big wad...also have a connection to one who owned a chain of the things...fair to say that he did ok...but myself - am not interested - not even a lottery ticket, nada.
But this online gambling makes access to destruction all too easy, imo - as if there's problem gamblers on the street - then how many more will there be online ?....as what risk in the valueless virtual, I just wish the real world values would stop bowing to it - or taking its thirty pieces of silver !

My money's on Landa.
maybe not ready to be a team leader just yet....anyway, will be an interesting watch, seeing him in the big one without the Sky injection - and he'll need to better his TT - I think he's about equal with Quintana there ?
ourt of interest - results of Suisse Tour - Porte won it.

Italy bans advertising on all forms of gambling

Italy has become the first European country to ban gambling adverts after warnings the booming industry was destroying families.
TV, radio and internet promotions will all be halted from January 2019, despite opposition from betting companies.

Football clubs and other sports teams will also be barred from having gambling sponsors.

The Nanny State in action. Nevertheless families will continue to be destroyed by extra-marital affairs, alcoholism, drug abuse, boredom, selfishness, driving too fast, etc etc. Absolutely pointless.

I seriously get your affection for the nags sinkov, but it's the addictive personality types that are getting into real problems and ruining lives because of it.

I made an assertion that Burnley Football Club should not be advertising or promoting on-line gambling.

Reports like these sort of support my assertion...

The Nanny State? Theresa May could not conduct a two seater bus.

You are not normally one to fall for the dark arts of politics BT, so I will have point you in the right direction this time. If you read further down norder's Mail link all will become clear.

'The only exemption to the ban is for Italy's state-run national lottery' Well, well, well, is gambling acceptable in Italy or not, is it wrecking families or not, they seem a tad confused, sending out mixed messages.

Despite the apparent problems with gambling in this country, our government also runs a national lottery, they even publish the results on national TV at peak viewing time, just before MOTD, you talked earlier about hypocrisy, you can see where I'm going with this can't you ?

    I can indeed sinkov.

I will need to research it but I believe one of our duplicitous senior politicians suggested we use our State Lottery money to fund the NHS?

If I recall correctly it was the hideous Blair, but I will check...
