What is the current position with Aird? Is he injured or binned for some reason? It seems odd as a couple of months ago he was SPFL Championship player of the month. We have really struggled for goals since he's been missing from the squad.

He had a right stinker, cant remember who against, then disappeared. Ive had a concern about Aird for most of the season where he cant seem to get too far past the 60 minute mark and is only a one trick pony. Maybe he was told to buck up his ideas and has reacted the opposite way.

Yeah, against Partick at The Deech, he got hooked at half time. Something must have happened but there seems to be an element of cutting your nose off to spite your face going on. I hope I'm totally wrong though.

Robbie seems NOT the kind of guy to fall out with, I can see him pinning a few boys on their coat hooks. Craig Levein didn't suffer fools gladly either, puss puncher he was.

There's a rumour that he has a gambling problem. As far as I know it's only a rumour and I'm just repeating what I've seen elsewhere, could be completely wrong .

Going to fully trust Neilson's judgement during the rebuild

Aird was poor outwith the dead balls and odd cross from deep

Add McMullan, King and Aird together and you get a poor man's Craig Conway

Also Levein played 4-5-1 for ages until he knew he could play 4-4-2 and had trust in the players to do so, but that's took a January and Summer window

As I’ve posted elsewhere I’d play Aird.

Our set pieces have been really poor last few weeks with him out the team.

It’s a bit like a goal scorer - here is someone with a lot of assists, not one you want to throw away. Needs some quality in the cross to get goals in this division
