    Haven't had the chance to read the whole of this thread yet. Would have been good to land another forward but apart from that I've a funny feeling some of the posts hereabouts haven't aged too well.

    I have to admit that I was very sceptical regarding us getting in the players that we were after. However, I think that the three players that we have signed are going to be an asset to the club. I don't know a great deal about them but according to most sources they are what we require and should enhance the squad.

    DM now has so many options at his disposal, and on balance, the squad is arguably stronger than when Barnes was here. Interesting line ups from now on, with the prospect of a stronger bench. Will the hardest job be who to leave out?
