I also don't get your point about people spending money on dinners and the likes then having to buy a season ticket. Hasn't that been the case for a couple of decades now?
That would depend on when the super early bird ran out - if its post season then fine. People will always want to get the best price (not a big fan of tiered entry by date) for themselves, this makes it hard for people

Traditionally STs are sold over the summer - its gives people a chance to save their hard earned to purchase one. Doing it pre summer means the same people are already forking out on everything else

Its nothing to do with DFCSS/FPS - its simply poor management, failure to understand the fan base, failure to offer any incentive to new ST holders and the proof will be in a reduced number of ST holders im afraid

I will get mine out of habit, but i think i will struggle to convince those around me who have STs and have already started to give games a miss. RRoss is correct to the regard, once people start picking and choosing its hard to get them back

I remember sending spoofer a couple of emails when dfcss were in charge, no response. Lack of communication has always been an issue

I'm going to stick with the product on the park being the main driver for sales rather than when they go on sale etc. If a new manager came in who everyone could back, and with a clean slate brings in some decent players, sales could improve, although that's wishful thinking as it'll be mcintyre again probably so another wasted opportunity. The previous incumbents brought out a scheme for discounts across the town which was also slated. Can't really win.

Agree re product on pitch being biggest driver - at times when its well below standard the club need to do more to keep people coming along

I think we should be looking at Motherwells social media output and learning from them, they do a great job of it with a paid professional on board to manage it all

I took advantage of the ST link up with the stars - free hockey once a month (£18) - ended up with a Stars ST along with 5 others as a result - DIA a bigger pull than Dens for most of them - was a great incentive and worked a treat for Stars

I'm worried, with the possibility of relegation looming, are the yanks getting ready to cut their losses and bail out ?
They must be frustrated with the slow progress of the new stadium and along with dwindling crowds, it all stacks up.

There is no deneying they have put money into the playing side, but apart from promotion, the club is no further forward.
The only progress is with the youth system and the academy, the period of stability has allowed them to improve.

We are now selling season tickets for next season and wanting to increase share holding,? Makes me suspicious, also making repairs to the Derry gates and removing the hoses after all this time ?

Maybe I'm adding 2+2 and coming up with 6 , but there are no updates on their plans and no interaction with the supporters.
The only exception was the scenario with the assistant manager when they took heed of the fans.
    .
I will be there on Sunday, even though the cundie dwellers will be celebrating st Patrick's day and singing their usual ****e

    Silence breeds suspicion.

I don't see how any fan that gives it any thought at all could possibly be anything other than suspicious.

Keyes owes DFC and the fans nothing but if they bailed out tomorrow what have they really achieved?

They have gave it a good go (especially the playing side) but they have never been totally convincing for me.

A football clubs owner has to take the fans along with him otherwise all the enthusiasm will fade.

1500 regulars are posted missing over 3 seasons.....we shud have been looking to add 1000 to 1500 over that time frame.

Also think the "local" advice they have been receiving can't be great.

I don't think it's possible to point the finger at one specific thing to try and explain why there is such a disconnect between the ordinary fan, players, dfcss and the current board but there is.....the defiant season looks and feels decades away....almost as if it was a different club.

The apathy (including myself) among a huge chunk of our support is frightening.

This is the bit that worries me most. It seems so elementary some of the steps that have been failing to address and I don't understand what's going on.
