When Derby relegated us last year their ever so humble fans sang

" you'll never play us again " as our fans took in the devastation .

See you are Oakwell Rams .

Forever living in the shadow of back to back European Cup winners Nottm Forest.
That can't be comfortable for them when their neighbours remind them of it most weeks of the year
Derby will never get near Forests,s achievements and they know it so they pick on clubs with a smaller fan base

The context of the day made it difficult to accept their jibes .

We were safe with two minutes of the season remaining .

I've disliked Sunderland fans and their arrogance all season as we've done battle but I wouldn't have gone to those depths yesterday when Charlton kept them in league one for another year in the 94th minute .

There's a certain empathy amongst us all I feel if you are a real fan of this game , we've all suffered some cruel twist of fate at some time but you don't have to dance on the grave as it unfolds .

Be classy , it may be you next .

Derby County would be a welcome 3 points on many levels next season to say the least .

Foul on Roos for Villa second goal....it would have been a foul if Smudge had scored in that manner.

He flapped. Ultimately cost them the game. A good goalie would have punched it away and probably the goal scorers head too.

And the added insult of Clough getting more success with Forest than with them.
