    Pay per game only and then after say 12 matches it converts into a weekly salary.
    If the same injury occurs then his contract becomes null and void.

    The most disappointing thing is that he wouldn't be ready til Xmas and let's face it that will probably be Feb / March.

    What strikes me as odd about this “signing” is that in Paul Warne’s reign there’s been a strong element of playing safe and being risk averse.

    Have training courses changed him?

    Didn't think Ward could possibly be fit by September considering the injury he's got. He won't be match fit by Xmas either, just fit enough to resume full training. If all goes well for him and wherever he ends up, he won't play competitive football until mid to late February at the earliest.

    Hence my posts earlier in this thread questioning why we would be interested in him.
