Tried to make some sense of this.

It appears that there is a ‘Negative Pledge’ clause (not sure what this is or means but if you google it, it makes interesting reading - I think it’s to protect the money you are lending).

Sounds like the sort of thing you would do when making a purchase in circumstances like at Notts! I think you might be on to something!

It's to stop you pledging the same assets over , and over , again to different lenders

I doubt it Arabian as AH doesn't hold the aces he is desperate to sell and the more groups/investors involved the better for him.

Its a case of wait and see now we really need to know by Wednesday as if I expect we wont then we cant sign any players and it pretty much puts us on minus points before a ball is kicked.
