Stokes getting caught on the boundary and their lad stepping on the rope then those 6 overthrows - amazing.
Plus my double came in Animal against all odds. Who says there's no God?
£660 - I would have taken 50 if you'd offered it me half an hour earlier.
Looked like Federer had Djokovic on the ropes all day.

Yeah I spare a thort for New Zealand, great team and probably deserved it on the day. So many twists and turns. Jesus Christ.

Stokes gets caught on the boundary in the 50th over and the match is over. Instead the fielder has it in his hands and stumbles onto the boundary rope for 6 runs. The throw also clipping Stokes bat and deflected for 4 more runs. Then the super over! Feck me, the heart rate was thru the roof! Wonderful

Well done England - but have to say NZ played their part so unlucky - fine margins eh!

It's actually difficult to take that all in , so much drama packed in .

    Cricket's a boring game right !!

Ben Stokes , wow , under that pressure , defies belief .

    Wonderful day .

Well I've calmed down now and my thoughts this morning are this .

England won the world cup , feckin hell how good does that sound , we are world champions at long long last and won it in the greatest one day cricket match of all time .

    There's a pattern here .

    1966 extra time Geoff Hurst

2003 extra time and Jonny Wilkinson

    2019 golden over Ben Stokes

    Mad innit .
