Don't need too. I believe you when you said it brushed his hand. Your obv telling the truth so it's hand ball.

VAR or no VAR, if they are disallowing goals for incidents like that then it’s time to call it a day.

I've just watched it grist. It was more than a brush. Wasn't it?
If it hadn't hit his hand the ball would have fell to the spurs number 28. Var is confirming the rules. It's the rules that need updating and tweeking

VAR is spoiling the premier league, God forbid they fetch it in at our level.

I’m from Tottenham, brought up in Rotherham and 100% a Miller but Spurs will always be my second team and I even thought the City goal should’ve stood!

But they have tweaked the rules, ball to hand with no intention to handle the ball is now apparently a foul.

    Or so it seems.

Rules state if a hand is used in the build-up to a goal. It's disallowed. Var can't be blamed for bringing to light when a rule is broken.

If that's the case all cameras should be banned from football games then no one can moan when a wrong decision is made.

The ever so slight brush with the arm clearly changed the direction of the ball from going straight to the Spurs 28 to the Man City player.

Call it harsh or unfare. However, if this happen to us and we lost as a result, Grist would be the first whinging at the poor quality of referees.

Not sure if Grist would call it unfare.
