Disappointing to hear that the performance is another poor one, obviously 100% the managers fault not any of the players who came in for a rare chance to shine and put in a performance that gives the manager no choice but to select them for the next match. The sort of performance that says I'm better then the usual right back or centre forward you've got to play me. Missed opportunity for some.

At least we won, which makes a nice change and can only be good for squad morale.

I agree most players missed the chance to shine and that cant be the managers fault. But its not really the full story is it?
On Osbourne , I dont think many fans are demanding that he start every game , but that in short bursts he may have suggested he is worth some minutes on the pitch and I think today proves that. Yes , he didnt do a lot but the decisive moment in the match came from him..
Likewise Dennis, he today proved that he can and does score goals. What did we learn by bringing on Doyle , that he is ' is a great competitor and wants to win every match' ?
Maybe by playing Crawford for more than 10 minutes we could have seen if he has any potential and could contribute something on a regular basis. Again , not suggesting he should be a regular starter , but have a proper look
Anyway as you say , we have won so lets just enjoy that

Strap him up, he’ll be fine for Halifax next week.

Of course it does, after the owners, the manager is next in line as 'the boss'. You know that, I know that, more importantly the manager knows it. But as evidenced in NCM , you can literally spin any result, and almost any performance to be anti-manager even when deservedly winning a game.

So when we have won and haven't been crap, that's purely down to the players? The management get no praise or credit for those games?

How many changes were made today's game? Will be interesting to hear from those in attendance which of those fringe players really shone today and put in a proper shift and influenced the game positively.

First clean sheet since Woking and we won ugly away from home - I’ll take that. Now we need another clean sheet at Halifax next Saturday.

Let’s hope JOB’s injury isn’t serious. But if it is, we really need to bring someone in on loan, budget permitting.

Edit: Just seen the pic of JOB’s injury - it’s serious. Good luck, Jim, because you haven’t had any this season.

Apparently the studs have cut right through to his muscle and cut that as well. Ardley is expecting him to be out for a matter of months.

Doesn't look good at all, very deep cut.

Sounds pretty nasty to say the least. Can we have someone on here blame the manager for rushing back JOB too soon!? And also blame him for Slocombe getting injured as he should never be playing in this almost meaningless cup competition!!

Come on folks, let's keep the consistency and standards up
