Eh? No one said anything in the match vs ict where the GF looked poor sparse on TV, having a big section of 550 in the middle of the Shed will look fine and provide backing abs much better than having hibs fans in it, pricing the issue here nothing else, they are eight to open one section of the Shed to begin and that will defo sell by the 19th.

Hibs have 3300 tickets, that's a very fair allocation.,this is hibs who regularly brought around 800-1800 to Tannadice, only under Mowbray back in 2005 did they ever bring a huge support, just like hearts, only in the early romanov era did they ever bring a huge support when top of the league under burley

Splitting up all our crowd will end up with just the lower ET trying to belt oot a few of the usual songs to not much effect. Got my ticket today online and was a wee bit surprised at the price.

The ETL will be well populated by the 19th, it's already doing well, the centre of the GFL the same (the two centre sections alone hold about 1200) and the upper tiers too, the fact the rest of it particularly the ends will look sparse will not affect atmosphere as they're never is much fun the GF, be a better atmosphere even with just the one big section of Utd fans in the Shed.

We’re not talking about ICT though, this is a cup game where no season tickets are valid. It’s right after Christmas every chunt is skint and neither the ET or GF are anywhere near full.

Hibs have been away a few years now and it’s a day out for them

For all we know, United may have wanted to reduce the ticket price. Hibs had a veto on the price and maybe didn't agree.

It is a poor decision pricing-wise though. A bit of common sense was all that was required.

I would have dropped the price to £10 for adults £5 for concessions and kept the Shed back until we saw what the demand was from both clubs.

At those prices, and with a week's pre-match hype, surely we'd be looking for a good turnout from both clubs. If needed, the shed could be opened up for sale. But IMO with the other 3 sides of the ground next to full and the banner up in the shed (great idea BTW) we'd have a decent atmosphere for the game and a better spectacle for the cameras.

But it's too late now. It will go ahead as advertised and priced. I'm sure the team will be up for it regardless of the attendance.

Shanks has been quiet of late. I've got a feeling he will score against Hibs. Even though the SC aint our priority, I would love us to win this tie at least.

It really is an intriguing cup tie. Not surprised it was chosen for live broadcast on TV.

I think shedka is on about the Scottish Cup match versus ICT last season (3rd March last year).

Even so M, Hibs are a considerably bigger club and geographically closer to Dundee. Hibs will bring a big support

Maybe but I guess they'll have the same issue selling tickets we do at this time of year with it being on TV. I also think they should have been cheaper for this match, given the circumstances around it but I guess we need to see what the crowd actually is before we can properly judge if the pricing was right or not.

Hopefully see a push in ticket sales this week as team deserves to have a healthy crowd for this, think we had sold around 4000 before the win yesterday, of that probably around 200 left in the shed centre section

If you can go then get yourself a ticket, if it was a derby then you'd find a way, tbh

Picked up my tickets yesterday morning before I went to the Partick game and the shop was quite brisk and there seemed to be a lot of envelopes with tickets in them still to be picked up. I reckon we'll sell 5500 and Hibs 2500 so 8000 at the game . Would have been a lot more if they made it £15.
