Thigh strain is what I heard,i remember he took a sore one v hibs
Still this is an embarrassing result, thought it would be a struggle like last weekend v Morton as the xi isn't what it was pre January for various reasons
However why we have gave these teams the lead trek weeks in a row is frustrating as things just become much more difficult
We had to lose sometime to whoever. Stats indicate we were on top but it seems from the comments that the performance was pretty rank rotten; dont know wasn't there. I think that is what grates fans most, especially when you supposedly have better players. but a coach that cant help himself tinkering, injuries or not will always be asking for problems! Enough warnings and get back to what was working.
BTW Shedka, you can’t cling to your unbeaten at Tannadice quote any longer, again, thank Robbie for that!!!
Usual scenario...lots of possession, but we simply pass it across the back/midfield, with no penetration. We got what we deserved from today, feck all, and thank Robbie for that!
Yet again, ****e selection and tactics. Luckily ICT have dropped points again, but we can’t expect others to keep that up!
It's not injuries or not, the FACTS are that the changes to the winning team were made due to 3-4 injuries and things haven't settled back down since as then we had departues, clark then also go injured (this was on top of lesser injuries to butch, mcmullan and facial ones to robson and harkes), plus we brought in a couple
This is what caused the disruption to what was working, not changing for the sake of it
In isolation our first league defeat since Oct is no big deal (a minter that it's Arbroath at home albeit a relatively strong Arbroath) but recent performances aren't great since we lost that momentum with the same line up (or close to it)
Even when Shankland missed two games, the line up with Stanton coming in and Clark moving up top still played very well and won both games
