I think the statement they are the most likely to put out is more along the lines of.
“Despite our best efforts to engage with the supporters of the club in these difficult times, the season Pass renewal digits aren’t commensurate with the monetary levels the club as a “stand alone business” can sustain. It’s a sign of these challenging times that businesses are struggling without customers and our customers have shown they don’t desire to back “Brand Barnsley“. The Board and owners has done everything possible to ensure the club survive. Yet with the income stream of season passes and other revenue being missing, we have no other option but to place the club in administration. If only the people of Barnsley had shared the optimism the owners have shown. The outcome may have been different”.

“As an aside, The owners are proud to announce their purchases of FC Underdog, a low achiebpving side with massive potential in the Pekanese League. Who becomes their fifth club.....oh no sorry fourth...Forgot Barnsley wasn’t ours now. .....”

Wi not usually told the true number of ST's sold, how many Adult/ OAP / Kids etc so a doubt we'll be told the truth this time.

Thev dropped the word "ticket" as it implies entry to the ground which they cannot guarantee and called people "Members" (could be tekkin the p1ss wi that). I see thev dropped the Barnsley Pride section which surprises me in these days of inclusiveness.
