    Phew indeed.
Firstly...a tremendous penalty from Bostin. The pressure must have been immense. (“She who must be obeyed” had to leave the room...I slugged my Sangiovese)
Hegasi AND Bartley solid...Gibbo back to his best, and O’Shea ok.
GREAT substitutions from Slaven. (To be fair I guess most of us were calling for them)
So pleased to see Grosicki given pitch time. Looked threatening and created.
    Johhno did what was necessary.
AND Hammers have just won 3-2

4 games out of 6 at home now. Should be favourites now but this is Albion we are talking about!

Spot on Prando and agree - thought Bartley and Hegazi were solid

Difference is - HRK works harder but Austin much more likely to score - made a few good flicks too! A good striker need not do a lot apart from one chance - bang in the net!!!

As you say Tipps this is Albion you are talking about.

    Home played 19 won 8 drawn 8 lost 3 points 32
    Away. Played 21 won 12 drawn 6 lost 3 points 42

We are only 9th in the Home league and 9 points behind Leeds. In the Away league we are 8 points ahead of Leeds who are second in that league.

Hopefully the lack of fans will see an upturn in our fortunes but pretty sure we will have some more twists and turns over the coming 6 games.

Totally wrong. Austin has scored 4 goals in open play. HRK has scored 9. If Austin hadn't of scored in the Birmingham match you would have been looking at 2 goals! That is nothing short of pathetic. He's only useful for penalties. Austin has been one of our biggest flops as a signing.

To be quite honest one should look at minutes played and goals scored.

Both HRK and Austin have different qualities ( albeit zero quality if we go to the premier league ). HRK works really hard but apart from that never looks like scoring or producing any magic like a Odemwingie who was twice the player. If we get the crosses in - I would rather have Austin on the end of them then HRK.

In a nutshell - Gayle is worth three of Austin, HRK and Zohore put together and this is where we have struggled - a ruthless striker.

The performance last night was MUCH improved over Birmingham and Brentford and apart from introducing Grosicki for Grady who lacks sharpness/fitness - I would not change this team now. I thought Harper was also better than Livermore and looked more lively on the ball

A much needed win, that was, we must make it count by beating Hull on Sunday. I watched some of this evening’s game between Hull and Boro, neither side looked much good and Hull looked very poor. Another ‘must win’ for us on Sunday.

I would like to see Grosicki play against Hull.
