I don't actually believe Grumps knows the enormity of the situation over here or the potential of it so at least in my own mind I've given him the benefit of the doubt on the matter .

I don't believe for one minute he'd dance on our grave if the club is placed in administration in a few weeks time or indeed we end up folding altogether .

That's where I am with it right now , he clearly doesn't care for us too much but there's clubs I don't like either .

I didn't particularly care too much for you lot in the early 80's and I'm sure you guys felt the same but since those days we've hardly got anything going for a variety of reasons .

I wish there was that kind of edge between us again because we'd both be doing something right at the top of whatever league .

    I will wager you didn't expect Animal's reply,Grumpy
I would further wager that there was no need to invite others to look on the Barnsley forum without providing a link
Your recollection of the post is remarkable so I suspect that you had the info to hand but was probably waiting for a denial waiting to provide a link & then gotcha

It really is quite simple: If you post such defamatory and condescending comments about me, my fellow Millers, and the football club I support (and love) then you can feck right off when seeking a sympathetic ear in relation to the championship relegation battle. Those comments by Animal were despicable. And I hate hypocrites.

Why you find it difficult to understand why a Miller will defend his club, on his club's forum, I'll never know. You've kind of made my point for me: instead of coming on here (a Millers forum) and saying that Animal's comments were out of order, you've come and stuck up for your chum based purely on who he and you support.

Have a minute, wind your neck in, and tried to think it through....

Is it seriously that bad at Oakwell?

Or just an inflated message board view of misinformation?

Not trying to make a point or score a point, just genuinely interested.

    Is it that bad Animal?

Just as a PS to Exile, you posted at 15:18 when your football club is playing a relegation rival, a game which according to animal has potentially massive consequences, and yet you decided to peruse a ROTHERHAM UNITED message board to see what we were talking about?

Wtf? Why, why, why (did Animal seek assistance)?

Well it's a case of joining the dots Grist .

If you accept that we are practically relegated which is a fair enough assumption given the three games left are against Leeds away , Forest home and Brentford away and Wigan are likely on appeal to have the 12 point penalty overturned , even I think it would be harsh given what's occured .

We then find ourselves in league one which looks unlikely even to start whilst fans can't enter the stadiums , who knows when that will happen .

We've pretty much known from the beginning that the consortium wouldn't be financing the club from their own funds and it lives and dies by what it generates itself and is in essence a self sustainability model , doesn't show a profit and doesn't return a loss .

The consortium have no emotional links to the club or the town , this is purely business .

They own three other clubs across europe all affected by this pandemic so it isn't just ourselves they have to be concerned about .

They have never shown any enthusiasm what so ever to support us financially , not since the pandemic started or previously .

So unless they do finance the club or we can get decent brass for a few players whilst not a ball is likely to get kicked for the foreseeable it looks pretty grim .

You see Grumpy I didn't notice you saying that howdy's comments were out of order when he posted many many hateful defamatory comments about my club & its townsfolk
Where was your indignation then ? but it was your mate howdy & it was only banter, so that's ok
So wind your neck in & like you tell me try to think it through as it works both ways
