We had lots of possession, but their chances in front of goal were much more clear cut. Which is why Meslier was outstanding!

It is clear that Rodrigo is better than Tyler Roberts in the number 10 slot. Rodrigo should start the next match. Just my opinion. Roberts has problems picking out incisive passes. Rodrigo is a different level. Meslier is man of match. Poveda slooow. Just couldn't get the pace after getting on. Got to the ball but then.....nothing. dallas excellent. Koch good. Barndoor 3 goals in 3 matches. What can you say. Only issue i have apart from rodrigo issue above is that we still look susceptible from corners. I noticed yesterday that Ben White wasn't that great at defending set pieces. I think Bielsa doesn't train this into players. Very strange.

Great result , Bamford good to see him continuing with the goals
Messiler - MOTM for us for the saves
Koch - better game - more understanding between the players
Rodrigo some good touches , as soon as he is up to speed he will start

Thanks for that. Maybe Rodrigo and Bamford to start next?

Genuinely pleased to hear about Kochs performance, should help the guys confidence ( but would still like to see Struijk given some game time).

Newcastle playing a 5-4-1 while defending. Truly unambitious.

We cheated a bit today too. I think we had 2 Stuarty Dallas’s on.

After what Wilder said about Bamford and the whole Sheffield Uniturd team singing 'we all hate Leeds' and 'leeds are falling apart again' on their we finished 2nd promotion tour bus few season back live on sky sports I would say that some sort of karma has been served.

Great result, great start and if Bambino carries on like this he may well challenge for the golden boot. Happy days.
