Yes you are right the Stranraer manager was worried about the backlash after the Ibrox debacle.

Ha Ha, yet again you try to put a positive spin on things!! As others have said, they have been fecking honking over the past 5-6 games, at least, and any manager worth their salt, would’ve had us attacking them right from the off!
Ok, we improved as the half went on, but yet again, no goals to show for it. Anything other than a win today, is a disaster, and as much as it’s all about 3pts, a narrow 1-0 win (and usual nervy ending) would still be unacceptable (given the opposition).

Comfortably is stretching it. He's done nothing so far except run nowhere with the ball.

Fuchs looking alright. Strong in the challenge & looks calm on the ball. Clearly loves a tackle. McNulty looking sharper. Edwards again having a decent game at the back.

Another 45 without a shot on target however.

We could have taken 8 at ibrox and lost to Peterhead

However anyone that's followed Scottish football even a little knows Accies were never gonna turn up today and roll over despite those results and the way we play isn't exactly free flowing just now

If we were to win its gonna be narrow and hard fought, that's gonna be the way of it all season, let's just hope they don't nick one first

Other results not going against us either as every game is level just now

Yes think we are gonna remain quite toothless for a wee while yet, I'd rather we went with the 4-5-1 come 4-3-3 setup Levein adopted his first year, it made us solid enough but we were a threat always at the other end

Not putting any spin, I'm not sold on Mellon so no need to, just giving some insight to those who may not keep up with premiership football in our absence (you're welcome )

Although it's funny how a positive attitude could be seen as a bad thing in the event I had been putting a positive spin on something, very interesting

To correct you though, only way not winning is a disaster (maybe a slight exaggeration here) is if St Mirren and County also both win, as it stands all draws, nothing lost nothing gained IF these were full time results

Hamilton have lost their last six away games in a row with an aggregate score of 22-7 ffs. They're absolute sh*te.

Yep, so anything other than a win for us is a disaster, unless you’re Shedka! (we really need to be taking advantage of situations like this, and get as far ahead as possible).

Edited to add: We’ve got a chance to open up a 13 point gap on Hamilton today, but a defeat closes that to 7, hence my “disaster” comment!
