Cheers mate, nice to see you are still posting, I may be wrong but I think you are a "veteran" of the Burnley board, if fact I think we may have exchanged posts a few times in the past.

No doubt Men V Boys today and you fully deserved the win.

Good luck with the rest of the season and have a great Xmas.

Mourinho has done the same when things weren't going his way, not quite sure what Nuno hopes to gain from saying that on national media?!

A disappointing result last night but I think the result is no surprise considering our poor record at Turf Moor. We have to accept that we are a very young team that Nuno has assembled. It is part of the project and if we can keep them together, what a side we will have in a few years time. By the same token in three years time many of the Burnley players will have retired and they will need to rebuild.

Credit to them they play to their strengths with big awkward forwards and no nonsense defenders. Their approach will cause many teams problems.

We had far more possession than them, played the better football but we couldn't cope with the physicality of their players. It is clear, if it wasn't before, just how much we miss Jimenez. Some have said on social media that we are a one man team, that couldn't be further from the truth.

After years in the depths of despair, we have now had three seasons of great success and supporters expect it to be instant. Press a button and all will be well. It doesn't work like that. We can all see how Nuno and his coaches have improved players and will continue to do so. There are some good youngsters in the squad and the will get their chance and gain the valuable experience to play at this level.

We are in for a few hard weeks and we will need to scrap for everything we can get. I am sure this group of players will try their best as usual. Let us hope we can get through to February with out too much serious damage.

I was very impressed with how cool Silva was with the penalty. It should help his confidence.

Exactly how it is Abbo, we just need to roll with it. I like the fact that we're developing into a side that shares possession with the top sides and dominate against those below. The problem with having more possession is that you have to break sides down in front of there goal, Podence is perfect for this. I think its more about fine tuning and having a natural goal scorer in the side... as you say Raul's absence is hurting us.
