I watched about three hours today,it was excruciating batting from England ..22 overs to get 40 runs.. ! Hope that the slow play doesn't come back to bite us tomorrow and leave us the with an odd wicket to get at the end.. Can't understand why we didn't get a spurt on ..

I think Root hoped the wicket would scuff up a bit more and give his bowlers a proper chance of bowling India out. We will see if the strategy works tomorrow.
