Well you raise points that were all made last year about the outdoors.

Not everyone will have been vaccinated either by August you are looking towards November for that.

The older generation will have been done then but what about the younger fans ???

Whitty did make a comment last month saying we will have to live with it at some point but these new strains are going to spook the experts.

The govt made such a bad job of it last year that they are being cautious this time round, I guess in 10 days time we will hear his plans.

Mind you, Trew didn't have a much better start once the real debts became known.

And now we seem to have sensible owners - well you've really got to feel for them. What a time to own a football club.
    This 100%

There's no 'might' about it, if their results are expunged it's potentially massive for us. I've had a look through all Dover's games, and if their results are ruled out we are the big winners. If you look at the top 7, Torquay, Stockport, Wrexham and Altrincham all lose 3 points and one game, while we lose no points and one game. Even the two top 7 teams who haven't played them still don't gain like we would. At the moment we are 3 points behind Hartlepool with 2 games in hand. That would become 3 points with 3 games in hand. Sutton are one point ahead of us on equal games, they would suddenly become one point ahead but playing a game more. Evesham Pie's updated PPG table sums it up best in post #16, it puts us within a whisker of the automatic place.

The downside is that seeing as this is Notts, it probably won't happen. We are usually on the wrong end of bizarre scenarios like this, but if if did happen it the implications in our favour are huge.

Spot on Elite we need to fight/scrap for every point as imo there is a strong chance this season not be finished.

We would all like to do it by playing all the games on the pitch but being purely selfish I would be delighted with PPG if we are top.

I used to think the football league were bad but this National League is on a different planet get out by whatever means.

Yes dead easy isn't it! We all fly into our seats avoiding public transport or socially distance queuing to get into the ground. Toilet visits can be scheduled throughout the 2hr so that they are not crowded and can be covid cleaned between visits. The vaccinated folk are safe so it doesn't matter that they can still pass it on to loved ones, or maybe unloved ones, when they get back hom.

Just remind us of which retail outlet you manage so I can give it a wide berth.

Perhaps with the popular view that Notts' fans are all old fogies with tartan blankets and flasks we may be at a distinct advantage if only those who are vaccinated are allowed to attend.

Now that, sounds like a damn good idea, Pete. Chances of it happening, zero pwan.
Well we lost Dover, everyone around us who played them won or gained points from them. They drop points, we don't. Also on PPG, we have same points but 1 less game played so it boosts us on that as well

Does the club shop do tartan blankets by post?
