A very proud born, bred and still resident Dundonian. Been United mad since the polis were the segregation in the Shed and vividly remember watching men take their kerry oot through the turnstiles onto the terrace. Still get a tremendous buzz following United and especially love night games, driving down Strathmore Avenue from Lochee and when you reach the bottom of Hospital Street the floodlights come into view, game on! Phukkin love away games coz the sing song is like the old days at Tannadice, and away in Europe is quality probably coz we’re on the lash for about three days solid. Been very lucky to have seen my club win everything Scottish fitba has to offer and when I die I’m gonna spread the word wherever I end up.

    Megabus Arab here.
Grew up seeing the Tannadice floodlights from my bedroom window.
Old man was Dens one week Tannadice the next. I started supporting United in 1963, underdogs appealed to me. First game was a derby win under the lights at the Trolleydome.
Never in my wildest dreams did I think we would win a trophy never mind become the size of club we are now. Used to live for Saturday in the Shed, changing ends at halftime, getting a soaking sometimes in the Arklay Street end. Was at the first Barcelona game, some sight Tannadice packed to the rafters, 28500.
Seen all our honours wins and a few semi and final disappointments along the way.
Moved to Edinburgh Sus*** Liverpool Leicester Stoke and now live up a palm tree near Valencia.

Had a few bad moments following United too many to list. Bizarre one was losing the car after the St Johnstone final at the Tattiedrome. Long story but at least it had stopped raining by that time. Getting detained by the German police driving into Moenchengladbach, scary because I was chucked in a holding cell, probably positive but somehow it returned negative and we were late for kick off. Danke shoen and all that "ve are not ze Eenglisher hooligans". But possibly the worst was being booked on a 3 hour flight the day of our semi final at Tynecastle v the dirtiest ever Fun side in 87. Being mid flight knowing we were in play and not knowing the result when we landed at 6pm UK time was a nightmare. Absolute meltdown. Had to phone home from the airport to find out the result.

I've been UnitedMad since my first match and still am.

Born raised and still live in Dundee
First game Utd v Aberdeen final at Dens
First Euro game away was Lens - as an aside I actually scored the only goal in what must have been 30 a side against the French outside a massive hypermarket where we stopped off for booze
Lost both trainers in the surge at Old Trafford when we went 2-2
First sneaky in was through the big green wood gate at Easter Road
First rammy was outside Aberdeen train station against SSB
Worst day was final against St Mirren
Best day apart from winning league as I was a bit young to fully appreciate that was winning Scots Cup against Gers

Chose United as a very young lad when we moved to the area. Witnessed my team win all five trophies. Entire family up here are Arabs. The weegie mob are Huns although surprisingly there is a Tim amongst them also.
