It's not good to watch ,neither is it entertaining , poor allround from what I watched today , we are not playing well going into these Play Offs , that worries me slightly , but I suppose we will see , maybe it's too hard or late in the season to expect a different style of play or a change in our predictable system ?
    Every word 100% agree

No we can't and shouldn't try to change anything now, what would be the point ehh if this style has got us this far to begin with ?.

I wanted momentum from these two league games and I was pleased to see our strongest team out to begin with. The only consolation to come from it though, is there were no injuries or suspensions etc, and we now move onto the Naarich game.

The truth is this season is now over , nowt to see here .

The only thing that counts is the two play off semi finals .

    That's pretty much a solid fact .

There's nothing left in the season that's going to influence what lays ahead in my opinion and going on play off history as I've highlighted earlier .

The play offs are not representative of anything what so ever with regard to how teams end the season or where we finish .

All that matters is we have our A game on May 17th .

That's the only thing that counts .

Yes depending on what happens in the Play offs of course, it wouldn't have really mattered if we'd lost both of these last 2 league games heavily.
Val doesn't like to lose though and hes not seen us lose too many in fairness, and Im glad to hear he was disappointed at that showing today. As we've seen before, he normally picks the players up after a defeat, and if we had to get a defeat or two out of the way, then these games were the right time to do it.
But the pressure and the excitement is starting to grow now, as we edge towards those Semi finals.

Absolutely everyone connected to this club is in uncharted territory right now .

We've done the championship play offs before but we came in from a very different angle .

We were on parachute payments from the PL and bought the best possible championship players that were around and hired a manager with several previous championship promotions .

This is massively different hence we are all unsure from one game to another how to pin our opinions down , I've shifted several times and that's just this week .

What I do know is those players of ours will be ready on May 17th , well prepared , focused and set up for the task ahead .

Whether that's enough I don't obviously know but be rest assured this in my opinion isn't some Brucy bonus couple of games with a happy to be here attitude that stained Wembley in 2000 in my opinion .

    We will be ready , that's a fact .

We cant finish 4th now so whoever we play 2nd leg is gonna be away frm home I think ive got that right.2nd leg could be a advantage if its home fans only however if we press like were capable it could make there defense more nervous if they have a home crowd.

    Animal.....
.... that sentence did it for me .... sums up just how I feel
What’s clear is we don’t know which team/performance/mentality is going to show up for the play offs.... I want the success...... but not the prize....
the last few performances have been poor, but we are in the hat.....

I dint watch the game so can't comment on the performance. R kid watched it and said that the normal intensity weren't there which is understandable considering what lies ahead. The goals we conceded were poor and summat to work on. I thought it was a risky side Ismael played, if injuries occurred then it would've been naive playing a full strength side in a dead rubber game.

Jules , I'm guessing the current situation at the dog botherers is possibly fueling your take on the possibility of PL football .

I don't know where all the money went either , I listen to this shyte almost every day at work , it's gone , get over it I think to myself .

My opinion of these owners of ours is well documented on here but what I will say is this , they are business people and not fans like Hoyle with emotional ties .

I suspect they will make business decisions should we land the PL bounty and not lose all sense of reality .

The question of VAR is an interesting one , personally I don't like it one bit however give or take its levelled the playing field for the smaller clubs at that level in my opinion .

Think back to our time in the PL in 98 when we got absolutely feck all , Dublin's dive , Shearer's antics , the Liverpool home game .

None of that would have happened today in my opinion , VAR works two ways as annoying as it is .

The KO times I'll concede , extremely tough on people who don't work the monday to friday 8 till 4 pattern and Saturday and Sunday lunchtime is no time to be attending a football match .

That's unfortunately never going to change , that's why you get the millions , you can't have it both ways .

If the daft feckers want to give us £100m for a single season in the PL it's not to be sniffed at and could and should sustain us as a decent championship club for quite a while .

The boost to the town's economy is also worth mentioning in these difficult times .

The whole community will get a huge boost and we will have achieved something very very special along the way .

Done right , it could be the making of us rather than what's occured over the hill .

Your right, I look down the road and see what’s happened and I laugh. They are in a mess no question.
Me thinking “ I don’t want this” isn’t going to change owt, so I’m trying to block out my bad feeling about the Prem, and start to think about the positive things, yes the boost to the town, and the people is going to be massive....
