Very good performance only let down by poor finishing. (and good goalkeeping). Yes there was a foul prior to the goal, but it was a long way out and plenty of time to defend so not really an excuse.

That write us is ok as far as it goes but it doesn't detail the plethora of chances that they survived.
It does say the keeper did well, boxing match etc etc but it could have been 1-4 or 1 -5
    Half the story really

He does say he won't go into detail about all the chances but the keeper made 4 good saves and 1 world class save. Is that not enough for 1.4 or 1.5. imo I thought he summed up the game perfectly and on more than one occasion praised our performance

It doesnt get us any more points, but that write up reminds me of one we got at Oxford a couple of season ago, although we did actually win that match.
We really do need to learn how to see a game out, although I did think their goal was very well worked, however you want to dissect it, and shows the importance of taking your chances in a game because we should, even then, have been at least 2 goals up. UTM

To get 2 up front got to stay with 3-5-2. If we can get Angus back ASAP would help. Last night Ogbene was tackling back. Bola I liked look of. UTM

Bola looks a great prospect doesn't he? Ogbene is a midfielder so I'd expect him to be able to tackle. His crossing was a lot better last night.

Chieo is slowly starting to show his pre-injury form. There were a couple of times last night when they put THREE players on him!

Early days but Bola does look a prospect. And we've got him on a 3 year deal (with an option?)

I'm keeping everything crossed that MacDonald is close to a return because a back 3 of him (or Wood), on the left, Icky central and Harding on the right looks formidable. Big Wes is fantastic. But not on the left warney 😉

I agree. I think it's a very fair write up.
Also highlighted the shot count compared to their's when they battered Cambridge on Saturday
