C'mon United, huge game today. Positivity Plus Please.
Unfair comment that, don't think any true fan would be happy if we were to plummet.
I would also be tempted to call the 'told you so' brigade to the 'reality' brigade as right now we are struggling.
Yes the team are trying to play football and build from the back though what Sporle was thinking against Celtic in the 3rd min with that pass I have no idea, but it probably stems from fact that teams have sussed we have nobody up front who can hold the ball and other teams are pressing us high up the pitch and forcing mistakes.
Meanwhile we have a number of powderpuff players in defence, midfield and up front.
For example you can't say any of Sporle, Appere or Harkes put in a challenge for Rogic's goal last week.
Sporle is not a defender btw his positional sense is appalling, he was in a different post code as the man he was meant to be marking which led to Celtic's 3rd.

So on today and we need a positive performance as it's ***** we get one imo.
In the window we need to buy players who are strong on and off the ball, I understand those who defend Butch but that's not what we need, his style has now put the team under pressure as he will be targeted by the opposition

imo his time as a midfielder should be up.

Agreed. In my case, I'd need to do a second reverse ferret if I want to say, 'I told you so.'

I am desperate for United to get back to the form we showed earlier in the season, it was a pleasure to watch. Even the Hearts game where we got pummelled 5-2 was a good game to watch.

The last few weeks have had me depressed for days after the matches because we're back to playing the exact same p1sh that we've had to endure for years.

My life will be so much better with a successful Dundee United.

I hear what you're saying regarding Clark being our only striker but I can't see we'd be taking much of a risk by giving Louis a run of 3 or 4 games on the trot to see how he does.

I don't think Appere is a good striker. For me, and we've seen this being effective quite a few times, he's a wide attacking midfielder.

Didn't know I was so famous!
But why is negativity so prevalent?
    Why are people like that?
You know that vastly-overused ****ey metaphor 'Glass half empty, glass half full' ****....?
Well some of the monsters on the forums couldn't get a f'n single drop out of their glass.
We're probably no worse than other clubs I guess but it is a shame.
    It's a sad indictment on today's society.

So turn up to Tannadice today with positivity, no negativity, it can seep thro to the team.
And I can't help my blood type being B Positive

Unless you sit in the Dode, I find the atmosphere pretty positive at Tannadice most of the time.

Fair comment tbh. It's an either or for me. I do like Appere's impact from the bench however and I'd still love to see him given a run wide left, cutting in on his right as per the Neilson era.

I’ve felt Appere has not been as good last few matches. I think he is best as a two like when shanks on fire 🔥 in the championship

Whereas he changed the game vs Aberdeen. Some players are just better off the bench.

What we need today is the support getting right behind the team as looking at it, being honest it doesn't have a home win written on it

However if we have some players back like mcmann etc and they go back to what was working, we can definitely battle out a win today against a team that is feeling confident just now with the help of a positive atmosphere
