It all came right in the end. Bolton missed two relatively easy chances in the extra time they had created themselves, so there was a bit of justice in the end.
Nice to hear both ends of the ground making it a great atmosphere.
The black arts that players use only happen because we, the fans are quite happy to see our teams succeed with it.
What ever happens this season all made irrelevant to me when Mrs Jocks's name appeared in the memory list.

It was a great atmosphere and the pantomime villain (Bolton gk) did his job admirably in winding up the home crowd and building up the noise. I like to think that his antics ultimately gave the lads the extra little bit of impetus needed to inspire the winning goal

Never really got going that first half against a competitive, decent Bolton side.
Some negatives and plenty of positives.

Played far too deep that second half inviting Bolton to constantly attack, give Bolton some credit though and our backline defended well.

Smith back on track with two cracking goals, ( check out the second one ).
Not playing to full potential, winning 2-1, increasing the goal difference and back to top of the table....( For now ).
We looked better when Sadlier came on.

My MotM.......Shane Ferguson,...never stopped running, chasing, helping out in defence and what a lovely left foot.
Puts a very decent cross in 90% of the time, not bad for a player deemed over the hill by some.

Onwards and Upwards.....still all to play for.....U.T.M.

CAM are some of my posts being removed? Anyway weaknesses as I've said Victor just replace him with Vickers sorted. Wood needs replacing this window. Would like Angus back at Crewe if possible if not bring Tilt back he's fit no point bringing a player in who needs a pre-season to get fit. Up front apart from Smith better than what we've got with a few goals in him. Sadlier cover for Chieo he's not a midfield player Lindsay is. It's not all doom & gloom far from it just a few adjustments one signing up front then quoting Brin we'll get that missing gear back!

Scrappy sort of game we made enough chances to win more comfortably but at the same time looked dodgy at the back, the midfield wasn't ticking, all three not at their best. As a previous poster said only Millers would moan when the team is top of the league, but the issue is we haven't played really well for a few games now so maybe a little shake up needed.
I'm more than happy with the squad providing we get Angus back fit and well , if not I'd have Tilt back, perhaps another goalscorer would be nice also but can't see that happening.
Overall I think a deserved win but they certainly make us sweat as Millers.
Johansson. Poor for their goal, give Vickers a run again for me..
Reg. Came into the game after a slow start
Wood. Some wonderful raking passes to Ferguson.
Ihekwe. Contrary to what some have posted I thought he was lacking today but of course he is out of position
Barlaser. Didn't show at all in the second half, I forgot he was playing.
Wiles. Poor from start to going off, what's up with him.
Rathbone. Wasn't quite the lad he normally is, got caught in possession several times.
Ogbe6. At last a lovely delivery for second goal, I wish he would have attacked them more in closing stages instead of going for the corner they probably would have fouled him.
Ferguson. I was a bit frustrated with him first half when he didn't beat first man with crosses but came into his own second half.
Ladapo. Back to his old lazy self, I know he was being marked by a giant but he made little effort to ruffle him, time for a rest.
Smith. Immense deserved MOM 2 goals, second was a beaut, couldn't understand why their big lad didn't mark him.
Sadlier. Did well when he came on injected a bit a life and skill.
Kayode,. Lad needs a run, I'd definitely play him in cup games.

I agree with almost all of that. Wood isn't playing for his passing! in for his defending at times yesterday he looked like it's time to put him out to grass. Playing him central like I've said cause what pace he had is leaving him it's playing Ihiekwe out of position. It's going to cost us sooner or later. Wood I'm not knocking him been good for us but comes to every player can't go on for ever.

Don't Bolton like to spread the play all over the pitch? Most expansive team to visit the NYS.
Deserved win and a great 3 points.

It would be interesting to see if this is the earliest in a season to have 50 points.

Interestingly police / stewards realised their error and opened up the fence but they did that far too late.
I actually come out of the ground when most of fans have gone and still managed to end up standing in car park, that is the worst I’ve seen in HOME fans trying to leave the ground.
Think it’s a case of club and stewards not talking/ listening to each other
