The official government site for raising petitions won’t allow this one because it’s against one of their many rules, namely:-
“It asks for someone to be given an honour, or have an honour taken away”
There was a similar demand for Ahmed to the stripped of his title after his “ text whilst driving” conviction.
It failed
And the police, allowing it to go on for 13 years, arresting the victims and their families instead of the perpetrators, no doubt it's still going on and since the police only solve 6% of crimes, not a lot is being done about it.
They're close to being a complete waste of money.
The only way of stripping Ahmed of his title is by an Act of Parliament with Royal Assent and one doesn't exist. ( yet )
I don't believe in people given titles in the first place.
Give everyday ordinary people that have done something with their life Honours by all means, OBE, CBE etc and leave it at that.

Tony Stewart OBE
Just to make the point before all the outrage tomorrow, bear in mind that he will have to be sentenced on the law as it was at the time of the offending in the 70s and will also have to be sentenced in light of his age at the time of the offending i.e. as a 'youth' )or 'juvenile' as it was in the old money).
Both of those factors will serve to reduce the sentence that the judge can impose.
