Oh boll*x……just as I was hoping to make some inroads to Mick; Diangana (who has a dire run of form) gets the third!

Goodbye and goodnight Dike……so called saviour down the pan!

Isn’t it ironic that Dike going off injured was the catalyst for our three goals to follow? To be fair I think when he’s playing regularly he takes at least two of those chances today, he was on the end of them so at least that’s a positive.

Diangana played more like the player we once knew and Robbo looked electric down the middle.

Obviously the Smethwick End decided enough was enough prior to the goals as they declared open season on big Val with some strong personal opinions sung his way.

For me, the goals were scored by the inventive kind of attacking football we know this team is capable of playing, albeit against a poor team. Nonetheless, whoever the opposition were, this team should attempt to play this way every week.

Learn from it Val and adapt.....tick tock

Today after 4 misses and going off injured Dike showed he isn't the messiah, but a very naughty boy.

Have we found our new “ Rondon/Brown Ideye/Zohorre/Hugili “ then?

Our hit rate is unerringly good in this regard.

5 at the back against Peterborough FFS!! Absolutely awful performance, forget the result he isn’t a good manager, really he isn’t, the centre of our midfield is so pedestrian we simply can’t move the ball forward quickly, hopefully he will learn today that flair such as that shown by Diangana is an asset not something to be stifled. We have had enough!

Agreed, we can’t just lump it, for the sake of it, and if we do it needs to be followed by the whole team pushing up and pressing

But I’d rather that was our plan b, and we get the ball up top or wide and pass and move and press if the ball is lost for a period then drop back like some of the better sides
