An average player who has shown some skill,decent shot,decent free kicks,but he`s not a wing back,and Im not sure he`s an out and out winger either,so no great loss really.
But obviously just another chance for some people to have a dig at the system and manager,which have both been hopeless this season so far.

Good summary. Too slow for a winger, too nesh for a wing-back. Hope he finds what he wants at Bolton.

I like Sads in certain positions, but hes very limited where he can play. If you watch him when he loses the ball (often) he puts his arms in the air and doesn't try to chase back. If you watch him when he does chase back he will Jocky but rarely tackle.

He would possibly fair better in the championship but as we play in L1 with our set up everyone has to do the hard graft and defend

Indeed. This for me is the weakness he has not shaken off. Very much a luxury type player, was the wrong singing for us in the championship and hasn't really been given a chance this season in the league. That being said we are not playing to his strengths and our midfield in particular is excellent.
