Well, if the board do come to the decision to retain the services of Ismael, my son and I will be supporting Albion from afar, if Leicester is afar. I will always be an avid Albion fan, as I have been for the whole of my life, but I will not pay money for a season ticket and travel to watch the type of football that he advocates. Pulis' style wasn't exactly exciting but, in all honesty, it was better than this and I think that says it all. Also, remember we were in the Premier League and not being beaten on a regular basis by sides like PNE, Millwall, etc. It may not be financially advantageous but for the sake of West Brom as a football club, we must rid ourselves of this archaic form of the game.

I hope we have put him on gardening leave so that he just can't turn elsewhere for nowt after we paid the £2m release clause to Barnsley.

He will probably end up back there now and be challenging us for a po place next season.

I think that Val is a decent bloke, God knows what it must have been like working for Chairman Lai and Kluless Ken. I wish Val well and I hope that he lands a good job somewhere. I don’t wish Lai well at all…….

I can’t imagine we paid £2m upfront so they could just have him back in exchange for whatever’s left
Otherwise we keep him on gardening leave paying him on the drip

But having said that Barnsley may realise he was fortunate / took advantage due to the pandemic changes no fans and 5 subs which the Barnsley fans seem to help their younger inexperienced players and high press
