Going for the jugular. Exactly the phrase I used. Could have scored 3 in the first 10 minutes then totally retreated. Whats the point of making top 6,taking away the fear of relegation, & then not give it a real go. A chance to unshackle the system & players & maybe experiment a bit? Also does anyone know how many games we have drawn or lost from a leading position?

Me and my mate decided to go in shed, not loads fans there we could sit anywhere as good as, so anyway we started great as loads said scored ,looked to me tried sit on 1-0 fk weird idea as it gets, then we know they ended up 2-1 united had a go, scored great goal then backed of again fk cookoo where we are getting that from, then they made 3-2.. could say lot more, but point i was making the wee tarts winger than was causing us trouble all day, so i went for a P. and come back and my mate said you will no believe it Neilson rook of that young lad ripping us apart, anyway my pal went up to the disabled bit at back shed, and there was couple tarts lads there, and he went over to speak to them, i asked what the hell did you ask them , i asked why did he take young lad was ripping united up, he said prob pulled something and hes sh1t anyway.. funny how you like someone right from day 1 , or most time you never ever rate them, now and again you get a player you come to like , but def does not happen a lot.

About time Watt was getting same stick as McNulty has done nothing game after game thought at time he was a poor signing he should concentrate more on his football on the park not bloody video games.

How many chances/goals were hearts able to make last two tannadice clashes with direct one or two simple pass moves in behind our defence. With pace we have up top there is no one for midfield to pass in behind, and any goal kick punts the opponents head back up field. We'd be better kicking it out play high up pitch and bringing team up and squeezing from there.

We do have a tendency to sit back when in front, but I also think that is partly down to not having the quality to sustain pressure for long periods of time. How many 45 mins, never mind 90 mins, have utd controlled the last two years? Even against the worst teams when we've won.

Think that is about the 7th time in the league this season we have scored first and failed to take full points (and in some cases any points).

Disappointing in how it turned out. Spells of the game where we played quite well but just disappear into our shell. We do need to find a way to keep up our intensity for more of the game though. For me, Watt didn't work hard enough. Forwards have to set the tempo in a press but he was never in position to allow us to do so.

Ultimately Hearts are a good side. Even missing players they have huge strength in depth evidenced by their bench today.

All said though, the most disappointing thing was how poor the goals we lost were. Benji should do better for the first and Mulgrew was at fault for the next 2.

McMann did well coming back in. Mochrie and Meekison encouraging in spells.

Fans seemed to be waiting for any opportunity to turn on the players today. Any poor touch or pass was leapt on. Booing McNulty when he came on was particularly poor. Disappointing from both fans and players today in my book

They have our number this season, 5-2 through there and 7-4 across three games at Tannadice, not like we haven't attacked and had chances and scored goals but when it becomes open they have the players to counter and hurt us

We are really missing Harkes and Butch a lot right now

Just hope Hearts perform to that level against Motherwell and County

Some goals from us today but count for nothing, Levitts absolute quality, he his missing Harkes and Butch as much as anyone and Mcdonald most be injured too
Levitt's a good player but if he'd followed his man through we wouldn't have lost the first goals and if he made any kind of effort to track Barrie McKay, we wouldn't have lost the third. The last goal especially was so avoidable. He just casually jogged through the centre of the the park and gave McKay alll the time in the world. Meekison made about 25 yards on Levitt such was his attempt to track back. Lazy, lazy play and a goal that could've been avoided.

First goal was a cluster feck right from when Graham stepped out of defence to intercept the ball to Ginnely, to Levitt and more not tracking back effectively to Benji putting the ball right on Boyce. Does Graham deserve constant barracking for that, i dont think so as its his first big mistake to cause a goal and done the exact same thing a couple of times and cleared our lines.

Levitt, there is just not enough urgency about his game but i would still have him in the team every week with some protection beside him, and i doubt that is going to be Butcher from now on.

    Ginnelly went off injured.
