We now have so called Tories advocating all women short lists, calorie counts on menus, tax increase after tax increase, multi deals banned in supermarkets, Rishi's Magic Money forest, a windfall tax on oil companies threatened, still illegal immigrants are flooding in, just as if Brexit had never happened. We're living in a Loony Left fool's paradise, it's just that the occupants of the government benches in Clown Town call themselves Tories. I don't see a Tory amongst them, and neither would St Margaret, if she was looking down at this ****-show.

Although Mrs Johnson has kept a low profile of late, and long may that happy state continue, it’s telling how many Conservatives still claim they are voting ABC (Anyone But Carrie). This Green Woke party with its rich person’s breeziness about National Insurance rises and electric bills is anathema to those who were once its most ardent supporters.

I cannot believe the Prime Minister stubbornly sticks to his Net Zero goal at a time when even relatively comfortable families are dreading their doubling direct debits. A staggering 23 per cent of our energy bills basically goes towards subsidising windmills whose erratic puff provides a tiny percentage of our needs. In a bruising interview yesterday with Susanna Reid on Good Morning Britain, the PM insisted the Government was “doing everything we can to help households with soaring prices”.

Sorry, that simply isn’t true. They could cut the 5% VAT on energy bills and slash the extortionate renewables levy at least until global prices start to come down. Is the PM really so busy burnishing his green legacy, to appease his wife and her posh eco-mates, that he cannot respond to people’s suffering?"

I vote Tory, not in the expectation of good governance, but in the hope of keeping the Labour Party and it's cretinous, 3rd rate, non-entities out of office.

I sincerely hope Boris clings onto office for ONE very good reason. His contempt for the Lockdown regs means that while he is PM, neither he nor his government, will have the moral authority to impose another disastrous lockdown on us again. As long as he remains PM, we will remain free men and women, if he goes all bets are off, the Lockdown Loons will be running the asylum again.

Reminds me off Winston's comments about Democracy, something like 'it's the worst form of government, except for all the others'. No doubt Boris is the worst PM we could possibly have, except for all the others, which is why I shall continue to vote for him.
