I can see Cov. doing a quick deal with Brum to return back there for six months.
There should be some sort of explanation especially for the fans that had travel arrangements, it was far too short notice
I was going in car for this one so no big deal but I did have to change plans for the game which I could’ve reversed back if the game was called off on Friday the ****ers.
If they end up back at Birmingham then my ticket might end up going back.
I know the pitch was **** but explaining why, how this was to happen should with only two games in should be explained in full
Also why not call it off on Friday when apparently one referee agreed it was unfit for play

Wasn't there an issue at DVS where the EFL (or whatever they were called then) insisting that with a shared ground that we had priority (eg it was "our" ground) rather than the Sheffield Eagles.
I was disappointed but to put things into perspective the Coventry fans have been fecked by this far more.
It was going to be a big day for them returning home, 20k tickets sold. There won’t nearly be that many for the rearranged game.
3 Coventry fans had walked from Wembley to the ground raising money for prostrate cancer charity. They planned to appear on the pitch before kick off to thank them for their efforts and raise more money.
I"m not blaming Coventry for this.
Whoever owns the arena gave an 'exclusive' tenancy to the Commonwealth Games, up until next week, with an allowance that CC could use it on match days.
They also allowed music concerts on it.
Were they taking 3 lots of rent for the same site?
If so, who was responsible for surface maintenance, if CC only had access on matchdays?
I’m glad he’s mentioned their lost of revenue but not mentioned the fans who have to travel 🙄

Sorry but Coventry can't just abdicate responsibility for what is turning into an even bigger farce as all their home games in August are now in doubt.
It's not as if they didn't know the old pitch hadn't bern re-laid or that there was going to be a pop concert and the rugby sevens held there so the damage to the pitch should hardly have been a surprise.
Regardless of who owns the ground, Coventry City are solely responsible for ensuring they can fulfil their fixtures. They have failed dismally despite having the option to play against us at Birmingham or even reverse the fixture and if the EFL don't take action against them they will appear even more inept than they usually do.
