I think we can take a lot of positives from the game and that first half showing demonstrates that we should be a team that is looking up the league rather than down it. Still need a couple of signings this window to kick on...hopefully we get some movement soon.

I think we are a very average team just now, competed not bad first half yesterday, but rangers were very easy to set up against first half, it was inevitable they would up the tempo start of second half, and we just didn't match it, if we'd held out for those first 15-20 minutes we might have got something. Suspect technical levels in likes of Freeman and McMann make it tough keeping possession in these types of game. Last season we could compete in matches v old firm cause our defence was so good, even though our attack was really poor. This year our defence is just not at the same level. Thought the team was organised well enough though, decent shape, if we can maintain that for some of the away games and get McGrath back to add creativity, hopefully be enough to pull away form the bottom, still work to do there. Average might be enough to get between 8th - 6th this season.

Putting Archie Meekison on yesterday with 15 seconds to go must rank as the most pointless substitution of the season unless I missed an injury somewhere.

How long after going 2 behind did it take him to change things . Fletcher need help long before he went off as Middleton done his usual couple glimpses of what he capable of then nothing else in game . Thought Harkes was doing well on right before moving back in field, least said about defence at both goals

Our season is not going to be defined by games like yesterday. It is going to be defined by how we do coming up now against your Livi's, Motherwell's, Killie's etc much as it has been defined to date by our defeats at home to Livi, St Mirren, St Johnstone and Motherwell. Had we (not unreasonably) got 9-10 points from that lot, things would be looking considerably different........

We were the better team in the latter two, in my opinion, Motherwell very fortunate with the sending off, we were better team with ten men, goalie error for their goal, thankfully Birighitti seems to be much more confident now

The Rangers used a double substitution after Meekison came on, it's an utter nonsense.
    I phucking hate FIFA.
If I was a subbie & the manager asked me to go on at 90 + 4 I'd tell him to go & get phucked

Is it just me or does our manager look like a guy who won a Courier competition to manage us for a few weeks?
