I'm absolutely not. To be serious for once (yes, I was being just a little mischivious on yet another 'World's gone mad!' thread whilst under the influence of vodka, but there is a slightly serious observation that whereas you would see something like the Welsh whateversportwe'retalkingabout Organisation withdrawing the singing og Delilah as part of a Woke conspiracy, whereas I just see small changes in society as a result of many influences, not least how organisations are perceived, or want to be perceived by the general public that they want to appeal to. And I guess that it isn't entirely rational if trying to broaden your appeal to include more women to get involved, as audience and within the infra-structure of the sport, to have a national song that tells the story of a man brutally slaying a woman sung by all at the stadium.

AS I said, just ongoing, ever changing modifications to the way society reflects on itself and changes itself. Some call it progress, others more akin to the O/p. But the point I'm making is that this has been going on since records began, the old lamenting the changes they see and feel around them as they get older. Of course, many people will try and both influence the rate of progression, sway the progression toward stheir interests, or resist the progression. There are many players from all sides attempting to do all of this, and of course a Government that see it as a great way of making us look the other way (imo!) when they're f*cking everything up further. And of course the extremist left and right, all taking part in this merry dance of push and resist. But slowly, things always move on anyway, to the ongoing dismay of all society's elsers across the globe. Always has, always will.
