i mean its not as if the ref only caught sight of it late , he was in full sight of Mullins run and the defenders challenge , his view wasn't compromised and yet he still deemed it a penalty , the defender never even put a leg out to challenge him ???

I saw it the same way. Clubs have spells where they get given loads of penalties erroneously. Remember Manchester United under Ferguson? Plus the crazy amount of injury time that used to get played at Old Trafford if they weren't winning.

Refs at this level don't have enough backbone, they see a man go down and 9/10 times give a penalty, Mullin just takes full advantage of it and will continue to do so until the officials wise up. Hopefully we'll be long gone by that time
