But didn't fox and Stevie hammel at mwell do that when they came in? Not sure why any team appoints a manager on the basis of a few matches.

Frankly the way some kind of viral discontent runs through the club it doesnt matter who is manager because the asshole committee in the dressing room will do as they please. Time for so many so called senior players to move aside now. And feck right off.

Motherwell did bring in 8 players in January too. As someone else said on here at the time the fans (who now own the club i think) were crowing bout how areas difficient on the pitch had been strengthened even before Kettlewell came in.

New manager bounce is probably the best we can hope for. At least Killie and MWell drew yesterday.

I guess we can hope Ogren is maybe saying different things behind closed doors and may well be dealing with things.

I wonder having watched some of that Ted Lasso, if Americans get the concept of relegation other than what it does to the finances....

But those eight players still weren't playing for the manager were they? My point is, it is possible for a new manager to come in and immediately get something out of the existing players he has. It happens everywhere and that is all we need. Again, Motherwell, 7 points in 3 games and they are now well on the way to safety. That's all we need. Change. We don't need an Ancelotti. If we can get a new manager bounce, like you say, for a few weeks to drag ourselves out of this mess and install a bit of confidence, we may be okay. F*ck me, again Stuart f*cking Kettlewell is the man who got Motherwell playing. How many of us would've taken him at the start of the season. Absolutely none, that's how many. So it is possible. Anyone saying that scenario is pure fantasy is wrong imo.

Right, now I don't care about next season. All I'm interested in is the next few weeks and getting a reaction if a new man comes in, then we take it from there, but we have to move immediately. No f*cking about like previously.

Sorry, im thinking of next season now, and more importantly, how much of that squad are likely to be here, and have the fight for the Chumpionship! I still do have hope that action is taken, but the new manager only has the players in front of him to sort this out, and that is where i firmly believe most of the issues are.

As to the new manager, i dont want Lennon anywhere near my club, and while i did have some respect for the job Naewins did before Aberdeen, i dont want him either as i think the players bombed him out as well. Im sure yet again that until those of a higher level are in charge, it will be next outstanding candidate from within that will take over, and if its Mulgrew, then i firmly believe he is the one that has orchestrated this for himself!

Fair enough, if you think we're relegated no matter what, that's an opinion you're entitled too. I'm not giving up just yet. This should've happened before now, but we have a very small fighting chance by getting rid of the manager.

I didnt think Fox was gonna be permanent, but look what happened.

As sad as it feels to me, i would accept Tam Courts back to steady the ship, see where we end up and give him FULL control of the recovery after the end of the season. He can then spill the beans on why we have needed so many Head Coaches since Robbie left!

Somebody will take it. I don't buy this 'no one will work under the current regime' talk (not aimed at you). Jack Ross took it and he's one of the strongest characters out there. Yes some won't, but plenty will. I'd imagine Courts will be installed as the favourite for a return.
