So he's the only option then? I hardly think so. Money talks and neither Coyle nor Martindale will be on a fortune at their respective clubs I wouldn't think. Its a shortsighted appointment and one that just makes us an even bigger embarrassment in my opinion. A defeat on Saturday night and he'll lose the support immediately

I hope in future when the United job becomes available we never mention Levein or entertain notion of him coming back to Tannadice .

Well that’s it on the ‘fishul now. You do wonder if Sir C of L was ever coming here to be manager as the appointment of Goodwin has happened pretty quick. In hindsight, I suspect Sir Craig was being offered the ‘Sporting Director’ role with Goodwin always being in the dugout…………
