Totally agree Boingy look at the variety of their music it’s just crazy that a few young lads created that catalogue of music at such a young age and that it stands the test of time with new generations stumbling across it decade after decade

My daughter knows so many of the lyrics to songs I’ve never heard of

The more I’ve been watching and listening about the Beatles the more in awe I am

Sometimes everything just comes together. It did with those guys. Timing, creativity, right mix, right connections, The world ready for a change of direction. Proper musicians who did the hard yards. They are the reason I went into song writing at an early age.

Have you listened to The White Album BS? Everything on there from a wild west tune to the roaring twenties and a lullaby.
Some great stuff on their albums they never released themselves but others had hits with. Yesterday is one of the best known songs, along with Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds, In My Life, Michelle, Across the Universe etc.

I had a sister 10yrs older than me so listened to music Elvis etc from a very young age and loved the Beatles when they arrived along with all the other great 60s bands etc.
They were icons for everything 60s and their music developed at an astonishing rate George Martin was a big influence I think.
One of my favourites is the song In my Life a beautiful song, there used to be a film of Baggies legends with this song as the backdrop I can't find it anymore but looking at the likes of Astle and Co with there are places I remember all my life playing away in the background was quite moving.
