    Agree.

Morias is a big upgrade on Mitchell, so the squad is stronger.

We should be looking to sign league 2 and bottom end league 1 standard players if we was wanting to get promoted this season what’s this lad going to do next season if we go up and we’ve paid a fee!
He’s nowhere near league 2 standard, couldn’t score more than 2 goals in 40 games 2 year ago in a pub league for st Mirren.
I find this signing underwhelming and to pay a fee for a bench warmer is ludicrous.
If anyone says it’s to replace macca next season then god help us next season because this lad has never done anything in the 13 clubs he’s played for before he joined daggers.
Tbh it's about time we had an underwhelming signing after Bostock, Jones, CLE recently. All very impressive on paper.

If you could guarantee we go up this season, I'd be happy if he sits on the bench, collects a wage , gets sent out on loan as long as we are L2. That's a great swap.

Our of interest has anyone actually said he's replacing Macca?

Maybe a silly question but 3 calendar years from now, March? 3 years from end of this season? Or is it 3 seasons including this one?

Yeah our recruitment policy is proving time and time again that it has no idea how to spot quality and potential. 🤷🏻*♂️

The recruitment/ quality of #radar signings debate when on a frankly embarrassingly long time on this message board.

Lol we have had folks moaning all season about us being short on strikers and as soon as we sign one, some people are pretty sure in some cases, or certain in others that it is because Macca is off LMFAO.
As regards his goal tally I think it is easy now to compare anyone to Macca, so most goal totals are going to look poor. Adam Chicksen had a pretty meagre scoring record until LW got hold of him, so past performance is no guarantee of future performance.
We really should have learnt to have more trust in the radar, and that we are not a moneyball club, (how many times for f*ck sake). The model is to move the club forward in the most appropriate way, not buy young and cheap to sell for profit.
Welcome on board JM and COYP

Welcome Junior. At 27 we could be getting a player just approaching his peak, and his goal record in the National League with Dagenham is certainly respectable. The way we play could add value to him.

    Very happy with this.
Obviously a massive need at the moment.
Even in the short-term, imagine we do end up in the play-offs, imagine if Maca had a injury and couldn't play in them, imagine if we were 1-0 down in the last 20mins and we had zero fit strikers in the squad?

Well that makes a nice change from the usual bitter jibes following a good player's departure.
